Rick Pitino and His 6-Year One Night Stand

Rick Pitino's extortion case turned a Clintonian curve recently. It is now a sex scandal against him. Six years ago this month he "drank" too much, tripped and fell onto a one Karen Cunagin Sypher...in a Restaurant! Not in the car. Not in a hotel, but a restaurant. Power and money does not equal invincibility. Ask Bill Clinton. Ironically Louisville is only 8 plus hours away from Bill's hometown of Little Rock.

In Pitino's defense, Karen Sypher was looking for a payday. He fessed up to his wife and family, it seems, and he is a very good College Basketball coach. He has recently come out and apologized to the public and maintains his professionalism.

Pitino won't feel the affects of this in the long term and he will continue to Coach a great Louisville program. Looks like he has learned from having a one night stand because the one he did have lasted six years!
