Billy Wagner decided to accept the trade the Red Sox after all. At the end both parties met in the middle. The Red Sox will not pick up Wagner's 2010 option, but they retain the right to offer him arbitration. That may give the BoSox 2 draft picks when Wagner turns down the arbitration offer.
